Located near the desert city of Palm Springs, Lake La Quinta Inn is one of California's most exclusive boutique hotels.

We have been making many improvements to our luxurious chateau and we are very excited to share them with you. Our decor is undergoing a transformation as we start with new paint, carpet, flat screen TV's, and wind down our themed rooms. Relax and enjoy as a more contemporary and fresh vibe ensures your special getaway is the ideal experience you were hoping for - and we're not stopping there! Our changes also include corporate responsibility for the planet and the health of our guests. We have gone GREEN with two big improvements. Our cleaning and laundry products are now non-toxic and eco-friendly. And even better, those wasteful, tiny plastic bottles of bath amenities are now large, spa-quality refillable bottles - the smartest improvement in the eco-savvy hotel industry - featuring a non-toxic, natural spa collection by innovative Los Angeles Brand launched at Fred Segal, Organic To Green. You can pamper yourself knowing we care about you and the planet.

LLQ has been an award-winning property for over a decade. This beautiful chateau and spectacular, estate-like grounds are already a getaway favorite and soon it will also be a hip destination to unwind with a drink, socialize, or plan any private event from weddings to a girls night out to a family reunion or even a super bowl party enhanced by the future transformation of our living and dining area into a bar lounge by Fall of 2011. Many of these new improvements are already complete and our transformation is underway - so come in and see what we've been up to!

SUITES:
Each bedroom is uniquely designed with care and attention to detail. All rooms have a romantic fireplace, a view of Lake La Quinta and the beautiful Santa Rosa mountains. There are four types of suites at the Hotel: Chateau Suite, Chateau Spa Suite, Lakefront Bungalows (one of which has a private outdoor hot tub), and our two largest Spa Suites, the Luxury Spa Villa suites.

GOLF AND ACTIVITIES:
Though our Suites are comfortable and inviting, making them a perfect place to spend the day, this area also offers a variety of outdoor activities from which to choose. You can visit The Living Desert to explore their plant and animal exhibits or maybe take a hike at nearby Joshua Tree National park. There’s also bike riding, hot air ballooning, polo, and, of course, golf. If you are a golf enthusiast, you probably already know that we have five PGA courses within a five mile radius.

SHOPPING AND EVENTS: 
If all of that weren’t enough, you can also enjoy world class shopping or gourmet dining just minutes away at El Paseo drive in Palm Deseret or The River in Rancho Mirage. If it’s an event that brings you to town, the Hotel is located in close proximity to the following events: The BNP Paribas Tennis Open in Indian Wells, The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, The Stagecoach Festival, The HITS Thermal Desert Circuit Horse Show, and both the La Quinta & Indian Wells arts festivals.

MASSAGE:
At the end of your day, wind down by booking a relaxing massage in the privacy of your suite, or out by the lakefront garden, where those aches and pains will be taken care of by skilled practitioners. This can easily be coordinated by contacting our front desk.

REFRESHMENTS AND MENUS:
We have discontinued our wine and cheese hour to provide a menu of drinks and platters, which can be ordered during our normal business hours, and enjoyed in our lobby, lakefront garden, or pool areas. On special occasions we may also feature a holiday menu in addition to our regular items. All suites have a mini bar of snack and wine selections (conveniently billed to your room by housekeeping) with additional spirits for sale by simply calling the front desk to order.

LOBBY GIFTS:
You don’t have to leave our property to do a little shopping. We offer a charming display featuring our in-house refillable natural amenity brand, innovative and Fred Segal launched, Organic To Green. Their luxury products with beautiful gift boxes, candles, bestselling scrubs, body butters, and all the amenities you have enjoyed in your suite available for home.
